We support programs and initiatives that offer health care providers and patient communities access to educational information on disease awareness, therapeutic management, and scientific advancements in our areas of therapeutic interest. Funds are awarded to educate broad audiences and may not be used to educate a sole individual. Examples of the types of funding we support are listed below.
Independent Medical Education includes educational programs and activities for healthcare professionals provided by independent entities such as hospitals, academic centers, societies/associations or medical education companies, with a goal of improving the management of disease and patient health and safety. Independent Medical Information may be delivered via live presentations, written enduring materials, online courses, and conference symposia from organizations (e.g. hospitals, universities, societies, medical-education companies).
Organizational Sponsorship Support may be granted to non-healthcare organizations and associations for medical education programs or general non-commercial purposes unrelated to our investigational compounds or products.
Charitable Donations may be awarded to accredited institutions in support of philanthropic or fundraising activities for humanitarian and social programs, scientific education or community awareness.

Completed submissions that meet our review criteria will be reviewed, considered and evaluated on individual merit relative to other funding requests in accordance with our guidelines and policies. Please note that we consider a variety of factors when evaluating requests and that previous support does not guarantee future support.
